Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Associate to ensure daily cash and security reconciliations for the team, acting as the liaison between portfolio management, custodians, brokers, and clients. You will resolve discrepancies and drive data-management improvements across enterprise reconciliations.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in cash/position reconciliations, and the ability to work across APAC, EMEA, and NAM shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.Com degree is required.
• Experience in Cash and Position Reconciliations.
• Familiarity with data acquisition groups and IDC/IntelliMatch.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work across APAC, EMEA, NAM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily cash and security reconciliations for self and team are accurate.
• Act as intermediary between portfolio management teams, custodians, brokers and clients.
• Reconcile portfolios and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Resolve data management issues including feed problems and incidents.
• Support Enterprise Reconciliations change initiatives and transformation projects.
• Address stakeholder inquiries efficiently and maintain 100% accuracy standards.
• Collaborate with IT, business units and external parties.
• Improve data acquisition and maintenance processes using ETL and self-service tools.
• Track and report errors and incidents promptly.

About the role

As Associate, you will ensure that all daily cash and security reconciliations are completed accurately for both yourself and your team. You will serve as the intermediary between portfolio management teams, custodians, brokers, and clients, reconciling portfolios and promptly resolving discrepancies. You will facilitate timely and precise resolution of various data management issues, including feed problems and major incidents, while championing and supporting change initiatives and transformation projects involving Enterprise Reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all daily cash and security reconciliations are completed accurately for both yourself and your team

• Serve as the intermediary between portfolio management teams, custodians, brokers, and clients

• Reconcile portfolios and promptly resolve discrepancies

• Facilitate timely and precise resolution of various data management issues, including feed problems and major incidents

• Champion and support change initiatives and transformation projects involving Enterprise Reconciliations

• Address stakeholder inquiries efficiently

• Uphold 100% quality and accuracy standards for both self and team

• Work closely with stakeholders such as IT, business units, DAG teams, and external parties

• Continuously optimize data acquisition and static maintenance processes by leveraging ETL and self-service tools

• Track and report errors and incidents promptly

About you

• B.Com degree

• Relevant experience, particularly in Cash and Position Reconciliations, Data Acquisition groups, TLM/TLP, Intellimatch, IDC

• Proficiency in reconciliation tools such as TLM/TLP/IDC/Intelli Match

• Profound knowledge of multiple asset classes and their life cycles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities

• Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Excellent communication and presentation skills suited for varied audiences and seniority levels

• Strong sense of ownership and capability to engage across organizational levels

• Willingness to work across APAC, EMEA, and NAM shifts
