Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Manila is seeking a Receiving Clerk for its upcoming luxury hotel. The role unlocks core duties in inspecting, receiving, and recording all incoming goods to ensure quality, quantity, and purchase specifications are met.

You will maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate with Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Storekeeper, and ensure proper documentation and FIFO handling. This is a preopening team role in Manila with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration or related field.
• Knowledge of receiving and inventory procedures and procurement documents.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; good coordination and communication.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems).

Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspecting deliveries against PO and DR; logging into systems.
• Preparing and processing Receiving Reports; recording items in inventory systems.
• Coordinating with Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Storekeeper for issues.
• Transferring goods to warehouse or end-user departments; FIFO compliance.
• Inspecting perishable items and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Reporting discrepancies and assisting with audits and documentation.
• Ensuring internal controls and avoidance of unauthorized acceptance.
