Job summary

8990 Housing Development Corporation is seeking a Real Estate Cashier to serve as a front-line representative of the Credit and Collection and Finance Departments, handling and processing financial transactions from buyers and homeowners with accuracy and confidentiality.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and professional client service. Proficiency with Excel and POS/accounting systems is preferred; on-site work in Batangas is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar finance/credit control or customer service role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and teams.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process QR payments, checks, PDCs, and bank transfers for reservations, down payments, monthly amortizations, and dues.
• Verify and validate payment details and supporting documents for accurate recording.
• Prepare and issue Official Receipts (OR), Acknowledgment Receipts (AR), and other payment documents using POS or accounting system.
• Assist buyers with inquiries regarding Statements of Account, due dates, procedures, balances, and status.
• Maintain accurate records of daily collections and related documents.
• Record, reconcile, and prepare daily collection reports for submission to departments.
• Monitor and organize Post-Dated Checks, checking maturity dates and safekeeping.
• Coordinate with Accounting for posting, reconciliation, and record updates.
• Review payment records for discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with the appropriate department.
• Assist in documentation and processing of adjustments, refunds, and other collection requests.
