Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate development or property management.
• Strong understanding of real estate and construction accounting.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks; Xero is highly preferred.
• Experience with construction job costing and project accounting.
• Knowledge of budgets, costs, and profitability tracking.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; strong data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for real estate development, construction, and property operations.
• Maintain financial records using QuickBooks, Xero, and other systems.
• Track project costs and maintain job costing for each project.
• Prepare project-level financial reports and balance sheets.
• Coordinate accounts payable/receivable and vendor payments.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Analyze variances and provide clear financial insights to leadership.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
