Job Description

Key Responsibilities

General Accounting

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and record journal entries, including accruals, prepaid amortization, depreciation, and other adjusting entries.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Project & Construction Accounting

• Maintain Construction in Progress (CIP) schedules per project.
• Assist in tracking cost vs budget per housing project.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Monitor accounts payable and payment schedules.

Bank & Account Reconciliations

• Perform internal bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile selected internal GL accounts and investigate variances.

Tax & Compliance Support

• Assist in preparation of BIR requirements (VAT/Non-VAT, EWT, withholding taxes).
• Support government compliance and audit requirements as needed.
• Prepare basic financial reports and schedules for management.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documents.
