KLT FRUITS, INC. in Dasmariñas, Cavite, is seeking a hands-on Raw Materials Supervisor to oversee incoming fruit shipments, ensure quality and maintain proper storage.
You will lead a small team, coordinate with procurement and production, and ensure compliance with food safety standards while minimizing waste. Excellent organizational and leadership skills are required; ERP systems experience is a plus.
Oversee the receipt, inspection and documentation of all incoming raw fruit shipments to ensure compliance with quality specifications and company standards
Manage raw fruit inventory levels, including storage conditions, rotation and tracking to minimize waste and ensure freshness
Conduct regular quality assessments and perform grading and sorting of raw fruits to meet processing requirements
Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast raw fruit requirements and plan procurement schedules
Implement and maintain proper storage protocols, including temperature and humidity control, to preserve fruit quality
Monitor and report on raw fruit inventory metrics, wastage rates and cost management
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards and company policies across all raw fruit handling operations
Train and supervise raw fruit handling staff, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures
Identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary
Liaise with suppliers to address supply chain concerns and maintain strong vendor relationships
Proven experience managing raw materials or produce in a manufacturing or food processing environment
Strong knowledge of fruit handling, storage, quality assessment and food safety practices
Demonstrated expertise in inventory management systems and tracking methodologies
Sound understanding of food safety regulations and compliance requirements relevant to fruit processing
Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience supervising staff
Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret quality and inventory metrics
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing operational demands
Computer literacy and experience with inventory management or enterprise resource planning systems is desirable
