Job summary

KLT FRUITS, INC. in Dasmariñas, Cavite, is seeking a hands-on Raw Materials Supervisor to oversee incoming fruit shipments, ensure quality and maintain proper storage.

You will lead a small team, coordinate with procurement and production, and ensure compliance with food safety standards while minimizing waste. Excellent organizational and leadership skills are required; ERP systems experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing raw materials or produce in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
• Knowledge of fruit handling, storage, quality assessment and food safety practices.
• Experience with inventory management systems and tracking methodologies.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and compliance requirements relevant to fruit processing.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Leadership and team management capabilities with experience supervising staff.
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret quality and inventory metrics.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing operational demands.
• Computer literacy and experience with inventory management or ERP systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, inspection and documentation of all incoming raw fruit shipments.
• Manage raw fruit inventory, storage, rotation and tracking to minimize waste.
• Conduct quality assessments and grading/sorting to meet processing needs.
• Collaborate with procurement and production to forecast raw fruit needs.
• Implement storage protocols with temperature and humidity controls.
• Monitor inventory metrics, wastage and costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Train and supervise raw fruit handling staff and enforce SOPs.
• Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with suppliers to address supply chain concerns and maintain vendor relations.
