Job summary

HDEC DONGAH JOINT VENTURE is seeking a Survey Engineer to conduct accurate land and construction surveys for the South Commuter Railway Project. You will establish survey controls, set out alignments, elevations, and coordinates, and support site construction activities on-site in Santa Rosa, Laguna.

The role requires 3–5 years of construction survey experience, proficiency with Total Station, Auto Level, GNSS/GPS, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and the ability to read engineering drawings and survey

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geodetic Engineering, Surveying, or related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience as a Survey Engineer in construction projects.
• Experience in railway, infrastructure, heavy civil, or large-scale construction projects is an advantage.
• Proficient in Total Station, Auto Level, GNSS/GPS, and other surveying equipment.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and survey data processing preferred.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and survey plans.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to start immediately and work on-site under varying field conditions.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction and engineering surveys for civil and structural works.
• Establish horizontal and vertical control points and benchmarks.
• Perform setting-out and checking of alignment, elevation, coordinates, and dimensions.
• Conduct topographic, as-built, and progress surveys.
• Interpret and verify construction drawings and survey data.
• Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, GNSS/GPS, and related equipment.
• Prepare survey reports, calculations, records, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Planning, and Site Engineering teams.
• Monitor and verify the accuracy of ongoing construction works.
• Ensure survey activities comply with project specs, safety, and quality standards.
