Qualifications
- Licensed Geodetic Engineer or Civil Engineer.
- Knowledgeable in using and operating various surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, Level, etc.).
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team of surveying aides.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Willing to work outdoors in different weather conditions depending on project site requirements.
- Willing to travel frequently to different project sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the geodetic surveying team.
- Conduct surveys to determine exact positions, elevations, lines, areas, volumes, contours, and other land surface features.
- Collect and validate survey data using surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS, and Level.
- Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and safekeeping of all surveying instruments.
- Analyze and interpret collected data to ensure compliance with project specifications and geodetic standards.
- Verify the accuracy of mathematical calculations related to survey work.
- Prepare survey plans, drawings, and technical documents for project use and submission.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders regarding survey results and project status.
- Assist in project management activities such as scheduling, budgeting, and progress monitoring.
- Identify and resolve potential survey issues before they affect project timelines or quality.
- Submit weekly progress reports and ensure timely delivery of survey outputs.
- Ensure the surveying team complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
