Job summary

Genpact Ltd. invites applications for Front Line Manager - F&A - R2R. The role seeks an experienced accounting professional with leadership skills to manage a team of 30–50, overseeing close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Prior R2R and transformation project experience are preferred. The candidate will drive improvements, automation, and governance across GL, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, and Revenue accounting, ensuring timely, accurate month-end closures and strong audit

Qualifications

• MBA/ Masters in Finance with relevant years of RTR domain experience
• Strong leadership and people management skills to motivate teams
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Quick learner with ability to adapt to new data, analytics tools, and technologies
• Proven experience in managing outcomes in a complex entity and fragmented technical landscape
• Familiarity with ERP systems and IFRS or Australian Accounting Standards (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a large Record-to-Report (R2R) team, ensuring effective delivery of accounting operations
• Oversee period-end financial close activities, ensuring books are closed accurately and on schedule
• Review daily operational activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, audit requests, and issue resolution
• Ensure all month end activities are completed within agreed time and meet KPIs/SLAs
• Drive process improvements, automation, standardization, and digital transformation initiatives
• Oversee General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Accounting, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Lease Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Accounting and Financial Reporting
• Lead Revenue & Commercial Accounting activities, including customer/supplier claims, rebates, deductions, trade spends, and marketing expense accounting
• Ensure successful completion of audits by maintaining compliance, governance, and audit readiness
• Client relationship management: communicate with client and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
• Manage and record performance of team members; coach, mentor and develop staff
• Demonstrate passion for transformation by identifying and implementing improvements and automation
• Seek feedback to drive continuous improvement and client outcomes
