Job summary

Genpact Ltd. in the Philippines seeks a Sr. Associate in F&A focusing on R2R to join our General Accounting team.

You will review daily activities, perform reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close tasks, while ensuring accuracy and SOX compliance where applicable. The role requires strong knowledge of Reconciliations, R2R processes, and intercompany accounting, with a track record of process improvements and the ability to collaborate across functions in a fast-paced, hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance.
• Masters in Finance or related field preferred.
• Certifications CFA, CPA, CRCM or equivalent are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle Journal entries and month-end close activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and bank/investment reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany accounting and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support SOX compliance and internal/external audits.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to General Accounting domain. Review team’s day to day activities, including but not limited to Account Reconciliations, journal entries, reports, audit requests, analysis, and other requests Month End Close Activities Fixed Assets Capitalization and Maintenance Intercompany Accounting Bank and Investment Reconciliations General Ledger Reconciliations Fixed Assets Reconciliations (FA Clearing & SL-GL) Identifying balancing items and its clearance Escheat Reconciliations Corporate Reporting Internal and External Audit SOX Compliance Find opportunities and recommend solutions for process and automation improvements
