Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA license or equivalent professional accounting certification is required.
• Significant supervisory experience in a professional services firm or shared service center.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience leading financial close activities and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate execution of financial close activities per schedules.
• Ensure Center Accounting team complies with standard processes and procedures.
• Deliver Record-to-Report services within agreed SLAs.
• Monitor transition progress and drive successful service transitions.
• Lead team in identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Provide input on internal and external audit queries.
• Guide and support direct reports and performance reviews.
• Update training materials and manuals regularly.
• Challenge established methods and leverage AI tools to boost productivity.
