Job summary

Ascendion is seeking an Account to Report (A2R) specialist in Metro Manila to manage accounting operations and ensure timely financial closings aligned with the closing calendar and SLA commitments. The role emphasizes accuracy, completeness, and strong internal controls under SOX compliance.

You will support auditors, ensure validity of reported actuals, and act as a SME for cross-region alignment while driving continuous improvement and global standardization of processes.

• Execute accounting and daily operations for Account to Report (A2R) areas.
• Ensure timely closing and execution of financial periods per closing calendar and SLA commitments.
• Maintain completeness, accuracy and validity of actuals reported within process/entity scope.
• Support auditors and legal authorities with required activities.
• Ensure strong internal controls and act as a Trusted Business Partner.

Job description

• Responsible for executing accounting and daily operations for Account to Report (A2R) areas.
• Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements.
• Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope.
• Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities.
• Ensure strong internal controls are in place, to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings. Be a Trusted Business Partner
• Execute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy.
• As Subject Matter Expert (SME), candidates will be responsible to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach. Create Game-Changing Innovation
