Job summary

Highpoint Property Ventures in Cebu City is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from plans, specs, and scope of work. You will review drawings to prepare project estimates, material costing, and BOQ, while monitoring costs and maintaining records.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Quantity Surveying background with 2+ years in construction, strong Excel skills, and the ability to read drawings and manage cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related construction field and 2+ years QS experience.
• Ability to perform quantity takeoffs, costing, and BOQ preparation.
• Strong reading of architectural/structural drawings and cost control.
• Proficient with Excel and estimating software; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from plans and scope.
• Review architectural, structural, and other drawings for estimates.
• Prepare project estimates, material costing, and BOQ.
• Prepare and evaluate project billings and supporting documents.
• Monitor project costs, quantities, materials, and site progress.
• Assist in variation orders and additional works evaluations.
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotations and cost comparisons.
• Monitor expenditures against budgets and maintain records.
• Conduct site inspections and verify quantities when required.
