Job summary

Federal Land NRE Global Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to advise on cost management throughout a project lifecycle.

You will establish cost plans, monitor costs against final estimates, and coordinate with external QS and finance teams to keep budgets on track. The role also involves cost studies, benchmarking, and reporting during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Establish, validate and update construction cost plans with pre-tender estimates.
• Monitor costs against anticipated final costs and advise on budget controls.
• Maintain quality control on information from External QS.
• Prepare financial analyses and benchmarking for projects.
• Coordinate cost studies, variation tracking and life-cycle costs.
• Attend regular project meetings to provide cost advice.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and validate Construction Cost Plans through Pre-Tender estimates in coordination with the External QS and Budget & Finance Department
• Monitor, review and record the progressive statements of costs against the anticipated final costs of the project and advise on the methods to maintain agreed budgets as required
• Maintain quality control systems that ensure all information and documentation provided by External QS is complete, comprehensive, up to date, checked and coordinated
• Prepare financial analyses for the project in accordance with professional best practice and with the standard requirements for benchmarking of projects
• Overall coordination and monitoring in terms of costs by way of estimates and cost studies for management approval/decisions, including variation orders tracking, IOL endorsements, and special cost studies through the whole life cycle of a project from Pre Con stage to Final Closing
• Attend regular project meetings to provide contract and cost advice throughout the course of the construction of the project

About the role
