Job summary

JSBP Construkt Incorporated in the Philippines seeks a Quantity Surveyor to provide technical and cost-estimation support for construction projects. You will perform quantity take-offs, prepare detailed cost estimates, and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) while reviewing drawings and engineering designs.

You will prepare technical proposals and bid documents, conduct cost analysis, manage progress billings, and evaluate subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as QS/Estimator/Technical Office Engineer in construction.
• Graduate of Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficient in quantity take-off and detailed cost estimation.
• Capable of reviewing drawings and engineering designs.
• Knowledgeable in contracts, variations, and billing.

Job Summary

Responsible for providing technical and cost-estimation support for construction projects, including quantity take-offs, detailed cost estimates, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), review of technical drawings, construction plans, and engineering designs. Handles preparation of technical proposals, bid documents, cost analysis, progress billings, variation orders, and subcontractor evaluations. Coordinates with project teams and other departments to ensure accurate project costing, proper documentation, and compliance with construction requirements.

Job Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor (QS), Estimator, or Technical Office Engineer in the construction industry.
• Graduate of Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Proficient in quantity take-off, detailed cost estimation, costing, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Capable of preparing and reviewing technical drawings, engineering designs, and construction plans.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering and design software.
• Knowledgeable in construction contracts, variation orders, progress billings, and subcontractor evaluations.
• Experienced in preparing technical proposals, bid documents, and cost analysis.
• Strong analytical, technical, and documentation skills.
• Preferably with a valid driver's license.
• Licensed or non-licensed engineers may apply.
