Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for construction projects in the Philippines. You will read drawings, measure quantities, and prepare Bills of Quantities aligned with project requirements.

You will review tender documents, price build-ups, and cost estimates, and handle contract administration including payments, variations, claims, and submission deadlines. The role requires teamwork with a multidisciplinary project team and active participation in corporate and community

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, ideally in construction or property development.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, civil, and M&E drawings.
• Proficient in quantity take-offs, measurement, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.
• Understanding tender procedures, procurement, contract documentation, and conditions of contract.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specs to perform accurate quantity measurements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Read, interpret, and understand construction drawings and specifications, and carry out accurate quantity measurements.

• Prepare comprehensive and accurate Bills of Quantities (BQ) in accordance with project requirements.

• Review and interpret tender documents, contract documents, specifications, conditions of contract, and other relevant contractual requirements.

• Analyse quotations, prices, and rates; prepare rate build-ups; and carry out accurate pricing and cost evaluations.

• Perform contract administration duties, including the preparation and evaluation of progress payment valuations, variations, claims, and other contractual submissions in accordance with contract requirements.

• Manage and coordinate all necessary tender activities for the procurement of new projects, including tender preparation, evaluation, and documentation.

• Support and undertake other commercial, contractual, and quantity surveying activities related to the business operations of the holding company.

• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary project team.

• Participate in company activities and initiatives, including corporate, community, and charitable events.

• Ensure all assigned responsibilities, submissions, and contractual obligations are completed accurately and within stipulated deadlines and project constraints.

OB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction or property development industry.

• Strong ability to read, interpret, and understand architectural, structural, civil, and M&E drawings.

• Proficient in quantity take-off, measurement, preparation of Bills of Quantities, and cost estimation.

• Good understanding of tender procedures, procurement processes, contract documentation, and conditions of contract.
