Job summary

Equilibrium Intertrade Corporation seeks a qualified SCM Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure quality across all supply chain activities, collaborating with Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, Impex, Maintenance, Technical, and Branch teams.

The role focuses on implementing QA procedures, conducting inspections for GWP/GDP, managing FDA-related transactions, coordinating CAPA, and reporting on quality metrics to drive improvements. Strong English writing and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years in quality assurance, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Auditing, compliance, or related functions with root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems and GDP/GWP is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

About the role

The SCM Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that supply chain processes, materials, products, and vendor activities meet quality standards and requirements. The role works with Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, Impex, Maintenance, Technical, and Branch Operations teams to address quality issues, implement improvements, and maintain effective supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures across Supply Chain Management (SCM) operations.
• Serve as the Food Safety Compliance Officer, ensuring that all food-handling and supply chain activities comply with applicable regulatory, industry, and company food safety standards.
• Conduct daily quality inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with Good Warehousing Practices (GWP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
• Responsible for all FDA-related transactions, including product applications and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the SCM Safety Officer, overseeing workplace safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements within SCM operations.
• Investigate quality-related issues, non-conformances, customer complaints, and deviations, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and control quality management documentation, including records, forms, procedures, work instructions, and other documents required by applicable standards and regulations.
• Analyze quality metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain teams and cross-functional departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in quality assurance, supply chain operations, logistics, or manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of experience in auditing, compliance, or related functions, with demonstrated expertise in problem identification, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems, Good Warehousing Practices (GWP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), ISO standards, and quality assurance/control principles.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in conducting audits and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent English writing skills for documentation and reporting.
