What you need to know about the job
Job Summary:
1. Physico-Chemical Analysis
Check and validate results to ensure product quality and compliance with established standards.
2. Process and SOP Compliance
Review, revise, and update process parameters and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards.
3. Quality System Documentation
Develop and maintain quality manuals, SOPs, and inspection guidelines to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
4. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Review, revise, and update GMP manual
- Oversee GMP orientation and training sessions to ensure personnel awareness and compliance with quality and safety requirements.
5. Non-Conformances
Track, manage and improve non-conformances to avoid recurrences.
6. Conduct Internal and Supplier Audit
- Develop and review audit plans, checklists, and criteria based on company requirements and relevant quality standards before conducting supplier audits.
- Lead and execute comprehensive audits of suppliers' Quality Management System.
- Assess suppliers' capabilities, product quality, and adherence to specifications, identifying potential risks or non-conformances.
- Ensure supplier compliance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout the supply chain.
7. Team Management
Lead, supervise, and develop team members to ensure efficient operations and adherence to organizational goals and standards.
8. Oversee All QACD Areas
Other Duties
Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time as necessary to support departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or food environment.
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO, and other relevant quality management systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory data management systems
