Job summary

Globe is seeking an experienced Test Lead to design and oversee all testing efforts for projects. You will develop comprehensive test strategies, coordinate with project teams and testing partners, and ensure high-quality deliverables through risk-based testing and defect prevention techniques.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in a test lead role, ISTQB and Agile training, and strong experience in test automation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in a test lead or related role.
• ISTQB-trained (certified is preferred)
• Agile-trained (SCRUM certification preferred)
• Familiarity with various test design techniques
• Knowledge on risk-based testing
• Demonstration of Defect Prevention Techniques (reviews and inspections, 5 whys)
• Test automation experience, preferred
• Preferably ISTQB/CSTE certified

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated test scripts aligned with testing framework and plan.
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies covering unit, functional, performance, stress, and acceptance testing.
• Define annual testing goals, metrics, and exit criteria; track progress and drive improvements.
• Oversee testing delivery, ensure on-time, cost-effective deliverables and construct automation strategies.
• Coordinate between project teams and testing partners; escalate risks to leadership.

Job Description

Creates and maintains the automated test scripts in accordance with the testing framework and executes the test plan and maintains the test plan.

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for projects, ensuring that all necessary testing types (unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, etc.) are covered to ensure project quality and success.

• Ensure accurate and complete quality metrics for all projects. Define annual testing goals, success measures, and exit criteria. Track and report testing progress and create improvement programs for missed metrics.

• Oversee the delivery of testing services for projects, ensuring compliance with processes and tools. Ensure complete testing deliverables, on-time completion, and cost effectiveness. Develop and maintain automation strategies and source necessary testing resources. Serve as the primary point of contact for testing concerns and coordinate between project teams and testing partners.

• Review test manager reports and take appropriate actions. Report overall testing status to the project team. Seek feedback from project management as needed. Report risks, issues, and dependencies to the project team and escalate critical issues to the QAE Section Lead.

Work Experience:
