Job summary

Spencer Foods Corporation is seeking a QA/QC professional to ensure product quality through physico-chemical analysis, SOP compliance, and robust quality documentation.

The role leads the QA team, conducts supplier and internal audits, oversees GMP practices, and drives continuous improvement while aligning with ISO standards. Bachelor’s in Food Tech and 3–5 years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology.
• 3–5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in manufacturing or food environment.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO, and other quality management systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory data management systems.
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Compliance awareness and adaptability.
• Documentation accuracy.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Physico-chemical analysis to validate product quality.
• Review, revise, and update process parameters and SOPs for compliance.
• Develop and maintain quality manuals, SOPs, and inspection guidelines.
• Oversee GMP manuals and conduct GMP orientation and training.
• Track, manage and improve non-conformances to avoid recurrences.
• Plan and conduct internal and supplier audits of quality systems.
• Lead, supervise, and develop QA/QC team.
• Perform other related duties as needed to support departmental goals.
