Job summary

CHEQ Software Testing is seeking a seniorQuality Engineering leader to define and scale our QA strategy across projects and client engagements. You will drive governance, metrics, and an automation roadmap while guiding teams through modern testing practices.

You will collaborate with clients, architects, and product owners to align quality with business goals and ensure testing is embedded in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related computing field and strong software testing background.
• At least 10 years in Software Testing/QA or Quality Engineering with leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, DevOps and modern testing tech.
• Experience with Web/Mobile/Enterprise/Cloud/SaaS/ERP testing portfolios.
• Proven track record in automation, API, performance testing, CI/CD, and test management.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools and evaluation of AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Quality Engineering strategy, governance, standards, and automation roadmap.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to align quality with delivery goals.
• Integrate testing into Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD delivery models for fast releases.
• Establish quality metrics, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Govern testing operations, including budgeting, environments, data, and defect processes.
• Lead adoption of QA practices, automation, API, performance, and AI-assisted testing.
• Build and mentor high-performing Quality Engineering teams.
• Support proposals, capability presentations, and client engagements.
