Job summary

Casheeno is seeking a senior QA leader to own quality across eight live products and a shared backend. You will set strategy for manual, automated and exploratory testing, define release criteria, and mentor the QA team while collaborating with engineers to build test hooks for better observability.

You will review tests, ensure evidence supports release decisions, and lead root-cause analyses when issues reach production, helping the team ship reliably.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA with prior mentoring experience.
• Deep experience testing mobile apps at scale.
• Strong understanding of test automation architecture.
• Ability to halt releases with evidence-based judgement.

Responsibilities

• Set the test strategy across manual, automated and exploratory testing.
• Define release criteria and hold the line on them.
• Mentor the QA team and review their work.
• Work with engineering on testability - build the hooks in rather than testing around them.
• Run root-cause reviews when something does reach production.
