Job summary

Daikin Manufacturing Mexico is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to implement and oversee quality systems for products and processes. You will manage quality plans, monitor KPIs, and validate deliverables such as AMEF, PPAP and Control Plans.

You will lead supplier issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement. This role focuses on ensuring product conformity before production starts and coordinating validation activities with operational, technical, and administrative

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality plans for products and processes to meet specs and standards.
• Monitor key quality indicators (PPM, rejection rate, audits, customer satisfaction) and propose improvements.
• Integrate quality requirements in new products and processes from design phase, actively participating in APQP and validating deliverables like AMEF, PPAP and Control Plan.
• Manage non-conformities of materials and components from suppliers, leading root-cause analysis and tracking corrective actions.
• Coordinate Qualification activities, first-piece validation, pre-launch audits and pilot tests to ensure product conformity before start of production.

Asegurar la implementación, mejora y control de los sistemas de calidad en productos, procesos y servicios, mediante la aplicación de herramientas de calidad, análisis de datos y gestión de no conformidades, contribuyendo a la satisfacción del cliente, cumplimiento normativo y mejora continua en coordinación con áreas operativas, técnicas y administrativas.

Actividades:

• Desarrollar, implementar y mantener planes de calidad en productos y procesos, asegurando el cumplimiento de especificaciones y normativas.
• Monitorear indicadores clave de calidad (PPM, tasa de rechazo, cumplimiento de auditorías, satisfacción del cliente) y proponer acciones de mejora.
• Asegurar la integración de los requisitos de calidad en nuevos productos y procesos desde su fase de diseño, participando activamente en APQP y validación de entregables como AMEF, PPAP y Plan de Control.
• Gestionar las no conformidades de materiales y componentes provenientes de proveedores, liderando el análisis de causa raíz y el seguimiento a las acciones correctivas y preventivas.
• Coordinar actividades de validación de primeras piezas, auditorías de pre-lanzamiento y pruebas piloto, garantizando la conformidad del producto antes del arranque de producción.
