Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Unitary System Design:

• Design HVAC unitary systems (e.g. packaged air conditioners, VRV, splitsystem) for residential and light commercial applications.
• Perform load calculations and size HVAC units according to customerrequirements, ensuring optimal performance for specific environments.
• Optimize refrigeration cycles, airflow, and heat transfer for efficiency andcost-effectiveness

Client Consultation & Design Discussions:

• Act as a technical support for clients, engaging in detailed discussions on DAIKIN HVAC designs and proposals.
• Present design concepts, technical details, and system benefits to clients to ensure a clear understanding of the project’s objectives and requirements.
• Provide guidance on system selection to meet the client’s needs.

Proposal of Daikin Centralized Controls:

• Propose Daikin's centralized control systems for small to larger projects,explaining how these systems can manage and optimize multiple units efficiently.
• Work with clients to demonstrate the benefits of integrating Daikin's centralized controls, such as improving energy efficiency, enabling zone control, and providing advanced monitoring and diagnostics.
• Customize control solutions to match specific building automation or facility management systems, offering tailored solutions to complex multi-zone environments.

Daikin Product Presentations:

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive product presentations to clients,focusing on the features, advantages, and energy-saving potential of Daikin's HVAC products, including VRV, split systems, and unitary products.
• Showcase how Daikin systems stand out in terms of energy efficiency, sustainability, and advanced technology compared to competitors.
• Address client queries and provide detailed information on system capabilities and integration options.

Software Training & Support:

• Provide training for clients and partners on Daikin design and simulation software, including tools for load calculations, system design, and performance optimization (e.g., Daikin VRV Xpress, DK BIM).
• Offer hands‑on training sessions and support to help customers and installers use the software effectively for system design and performance analysis.
• Stay updated on the latest Daikin software features and ensure clients are informed about new tools or updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Registered Mechanical Engineer
• Experience:
  • Preferably with 0 to 2 years of experience in HVAC design, with a focus on unitary systems.
  • Strong experience with client presentations and proposal development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and HVAC-specific design tools.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, especially in technical discussions with clients.
  • Ability to conduct effective training sessions for diverse audiences.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel to client sites for presentations, training, and support.
  • Knowledge of how to drive
