BW Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a seasoned QC/QA Manager to lead the factory quality system, ensuring garments meet buyer specs from fabric inspection to final packaging. You will drive defect elimination, supervise floor inspection teams, and communicate with brand auditors to uphold stringent quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 8 years in quality management and garment manufacturing, plus 3+ years in a supervisory role, with proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, and willingness

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of progressive experience in apparel quality control.
• At least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Certified in buyer-specific quality systems (highly preferred) or Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.

About the role

The QC/QA Manager oversees the entire factory quality system to guarantee all shipped garments match buyer specifications and standards. This role requires hands-on leadership to eliminate production defects, manage floor inspection teams, and handle direct communications with brand auditors. The ideal candidate ensures that quality is built into the garment at every stage, from fabric inspection to final packaging, minimizing rework and scrap rates.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire factory quality system to guarantee all shipped garments match buyer specifications and standards

• Eliminate production defects through hands-on leadership

• Manage floor inspection teams

• Handle direct communications with brand auditors

• Ensure quality is built into the garment at every stage, from fabric inspection to final packaging

• Negotiate quality parameters with both buyers and suppliers

About you

• Minimum 5-8 years of progressive experience in apparel quality control

• At least 3 years in a managerial role

• Comprehensive knowledge of garment construction, sewing machine capabilities, patterns, and fabric shrinkage/shading

• Certified in buyer-specific quality systems (highly preferred)

• Six Sigma Green Belt (a plus)

• Ability to write clear audit reports and negotiate quality parameters firmly with both buyers and suppliers

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis

• Experienced with factory ERP systems

• Bachelor's degree (Required)

• Able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga before starting work (Required)
