Atlanta Industries Incorporated is seeking an experienced QA professional to lead quality control across incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products. You will document QA processes, ensure robust inspections, and coordinate with production and R&D for quality compliance.
The role emphasizes leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to drive corrective actions while mentoring QA staff and aligning with company safety policies.
Location: Carmona, Cavite
Responsible for the implementation of all quality control policies and procedures for all incoming materials, traded items and finished products. Document processes and policies that are essential to quality assurance and quality control. Ensure detailed assessment of products in every stages of production.
College Graduate, preferably Engineering courses;
At least five (5) yrs. related experience in Quality Assurance operations from a plastic manufacturing industry;
Diligent, focus to details;
Strong leadership and management skills;
High attention to details, planning, communication skills and good problem skills.
Establishes and implements a Quality Control Plan.
Establishes and implements inspection criteria for incoming raw materials, traded items, in-process and finished products based on the Quality Control Plan.
Performs qualification, evaluation and testing of newly-introduced products and coordinates corrective actions with the concerned production departments for detected quality issues.
Recommends mass production to the Production Head after the product has passed the required quality tests.
Approves non-conforming products after reviewing the recommendation of the Production Supervisor/Head.
Attends Material Review Board meetings when there are non-conforming products found during final inspection; makes appropriate observations and recommendations.
Ensures that all QA Inspectors meet qualification requirements at all times.
Ensure appropriate calibration program of all laboratory machines and measuring equipment's such as weighing scales, calipers, micrometers, etc. as identified by end users.
Prepares monthly summaries of KRA/KPIs.
Issue and manage supplier's corrective action reports.
Work with Research and Development Team/ Technical for test control plans and product qualification requirements.
Coaching / mentoring of direct reports.
Review documents regularly. Documents processes and policies that are essential to quality assurance and quality control.
Attends to customer complaints as these relate to quality issues, in coordination with concerned PCs and departments.
Identify training needs of QA personnel. Conducts technical training relevant to quality control and assurance for department staff and other Plant employees, as needed.
Monitors attendance of personnel being supervised; initiates appropriate measures to correct habitual absenteeism and tardiness
Tracks individual progress of subordinates and performs the monthly performance evaluation; formulates and implement development plans to improve job performance of subordinates and submits to Production Head for approval.
Ensures that all employees in the department comply with prescribed policies and procedures of the Company on safety and security
Ensures that all employees in the department comply with the Company's HR policies and initiates appropriate corrective/ disciplinary actions on reported violations by subordinates.
Performs additional or special assignments that may be assigned by superiors from time to time.
