Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control in a manufacturing facility in Mabalacat City, Pampanga. You will oversee QA/QC policies, audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products meet stringent quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 5–10 years in QA/QC within manufacturing, with strong knowledge of ISO standards and QMS software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5-10 years' professional experience in quality assurance and quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in leading and managing QA/QC teams and personnel.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or other relevant quality management system standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in CAPA procedures and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in quality control tools, statistical analysis and inspection techniques.
• Experience with quality management systems software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey quality concepts to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant manufacturing regulations, industry standards and customer quality requirements.
• Certification in quality management (ASQ CQE, ISO Lead Auditor or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, electronics or pharmaceutical manufacturing would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain QA/QC policies and standards across manufacturing operations.
• Oversee inspection and testing of raw materials, WIP, and finished products to meet specs and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and manage the QA/QC team with supervision, training and performance management.
• Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement CAPA actions.
• Maintain quality documentation, records and traceability per standards and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and procurement to resolve quality concerns and optimise processes.
• Conduct internal audits and manage external audits for ISO and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor KPIs and produce reports for senior management.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and reduce defects and waste.
• Ensure QC equipment is calibrated, maintained and validated.

Based in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, this is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and quality control operations within our manufacturing facility. As QA/QC Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our quality standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving continuous improvement across all production processes. Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive quality assurance and quality control policies, procedures and standards across all manufacturing operations

• Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products to ensure they meet established quality specifications and regulatory requirements

• Lead and manage the QA/QC team, providing supervision, training and performance management to ensure optimal team effectiveness

• Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence

• Manage and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, records and traceability systems in compliance with industry standards and customer requirements

• Collaborate with production, engineering and procurement departments to resolve quality concerns and optimise manufacturing processes

• Conduct internal audits and manage external audits to ensure ongoing compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements

• Monitor key quality metrics and KPIs, producing regular reports and presentations to senior management

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement quality enhancement initiatives to reduce defects and waste

• Ensure all quality control equipment is properly calibrated, maintained and validated
