Job summary

Firefly Electric & Lighting Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Engineer in Calumpit, Bulacan, for a full-time role within a manufacturing environment. You will implement and manage QC processes, conduct inspections, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, with at least 1 year of relevant experience. A licensed engineer and knowledge of ISO 9000, extrusion processes, or PVC compounding are preferred assets.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any Engineering course.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing or chemistry environment.
• Preferably a licensed engineer.
• Background in ISO 9000.
• Knowledge in the extrusion process or PVC compounding is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implements and manages quality control processes, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent product quality.
• Conducts thorough inspections and tests of products, components, and materials to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Analyzes quality data, including inspection results, non-conformities, and customer feedback, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Leads investigations into quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Maintains comprehensive records of quality control activities, inspection reports, and quality assurance documentation.

About The Role

Location: Calumpit, Bulacan

Role Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: 5-day work week

As a Quality Control Engineer, you will ensure the highest levels of product quality and adherence to quality standards within our organization. You will be responsible for implementing, and maintaining quality control processes and systems, conducting inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Other responsibilities include:

• Implements and manages quality control processes, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent product quality.


• Conducts thorough inspections and tests of products, components, and materials to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.


• Analyzes quality data, including inspection results, non-conformities, and customer feedback, to identify trends and areas for improvement.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:
