Job summary

Firefly Electric and Lighting Corp. in the Philippines is seeking an Associate Design Engineer to plan and execute Electrical Enclosure designs using 3D CAD software in line with customer specifications and quality requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing shop drawings, providing design engineering support, organizing multiple projects, and collaborating with costing, production, and QC teams. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for this full-time role in the Switchgear department

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial technology or related design/engineering field.
• Experience with CAD software is required.

About the Role

Location: Calumpit, Bulacan

Role Type: Full-time

Department: Switchgear

Reporting to: Design Supervisor

Work Schedule: 5-day work week

As an Associate Design Engineer, you will plan and execute Electrical Enclosure designs using 3D Computer Aided Design software in compliance with the customer specifications and quality requirements.

Other responsibilities include:

• Prepare Shop drawings and Product design for the customer


• Provide Design Engineering Support and contributes to the development of engineering drawings and design


• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines


• Collaborates with various functional groups assigned to the product including but not limited to costing, production and QC.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor''s Degree in Industrial Technology Major in Drafting Technology, or other related design and engineering courses

• With CAD software experience


• Can read and interpret Electrical Plans


• Know how to draw using 3D CAD software


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
