Job summary

Firefly Electric & Lighting Corp. is seeking a Document Controller in Calumpit, Bulacan, to manage document control processes and ensure compliance with standards. The role reports to the QMS and QC Manager and requires on-site work with a 5-day schedule.

The ideal candidate will implement and maintain document control systems, review documents for accuracy, and help prepare quality standards and regulatory alignments. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and training will be provided.

About the Role

Location: Calumpit, Bulacan

Role Type: Full-time

Reporting to: QMS and QC Manager

Work Schedule: 5-day work week (onsite)

As aDocument Controller, you will be responsible for managing document control processes and systems, ensuring compliance with document management standards and regulations.

Other responsibilities include:

• Implements, maintains, and manages document control systems and processes (including reviewing, processing, filing and archiving documents).




• Assists the QMS Manager in the preparation of industry-specific quality standards, certifications, and regulations, staying updated on changes and developments.




• Establishes and updates document control databases and coordinates with Project Teams to facilitate document exchange.




• Performs quality checks on documents, resolves discrepancies, and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance of documents to quality and company standards.




• Handles document retrieval and archiving ensuring documents aresystematicallylabeled and stored (for easy retrieval, version control, and maintenance of accurate records).




• Establishes document retention schedules, archiving, and proper disposal of outdated documents as well as maintaining the security of confidential documents.




• Provides support and training to users on document management systems.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or similar courses. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!




• Proficient in using document management software or systems.




• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) is highly desirable.




• Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor is an advantage.




• Willing to be assigned in Calumpit, Bulacan.
