Job summary

Aon in Manila is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Tester to join our global delivery teams. You will analyze requirements, design comprehensive test plans and execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing to ensure system reliability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate features and support deployments. We value strong analytical skills, a solid QA foundation, and experience with Agile practices and test automation tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
Minimum 3 years as a software quality assurance tester in technology industries.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types (functional, non-functional, regression, integration, system, UAT) and SDLC.
Excellent analytical skills to translate complex requirements into effective test scenarios with full QA coverage.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements, process flows, user stories and functional specs to generate a comprehensive test plan.
Collaborate with analysts, developers and business teams to ensure complete coverage of acceptance criteria and regression scenarios.
Execute functional, regression, integration and UAT testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Ensure QA adherence to testing standards and best practices in planning, scheduling, and tracking test items.
Support Business teams during UAT and assist with production deployments and verification tasks.
