Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a QA/QC professional to lead quality assurance efforts across production. You will evaluate product quality, inspect raw materials, maintain QA documentation, and ensure calibration and compliance with 5S and safety standards.

The role requires a BS Engineering or Manufacturing background with at least 3 years of related experience, plus strong analytical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering or manufacturing background with minimum 3 years in related QA/QC.
• Analytical and meticulous approach to process quality and improvements.
• Experience with QC tools (FMEA, SPC) is a plus.
• Background in Quality Management Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate product quality against industry standards.
• Inspect incoming raw materials for consistency and integrity.
• Keep QA reference documents updated prior to production runs.
• Check machine parameters against standard settings.
• Report quality issues to management and coordinate root-cause actions.
• Monitor work-in-process stocks held for quality problems with relevant departments.
• Provide analysis and recommendations for material testing.
• Prepare COI for products as required by clients.
• Draft QA and technical reports for internal and external concerns.
• Ensure QA instruments and equipment calibration is up to date.
• Verify corrective actions are implemented properly.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits (clients and suppliers).
• Develop testing protocols applicable across production processes.
• Provide training and support to QA team.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System, 5S and Safety.
• Participate in all required company programs.

Job description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1. Test and evaluate result of product quality based on industry standard. Analyze the physical and functional properties of product (per process) to ensure that result all within the approved technical specifications.
• 2. Conduct incoming inspection to applicable raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity.
• 3. Ensures that all QA reference documents are updated and available prior to production run.
• 4. Conduct machine parameter checking and verification with reference to established standard settings.
• 5. Report problems or concern to senior management immediately. Ensure that all quality related issues and concerns, deviations are immediately coordinated to concerned department/section for proper disposition and control.
• 6. Monitor and evaluate all work-in-process stocks that were put on hold due to quality problem and confers with Production and Marketing Departments the outcome of evaluation.
• 7. Conduct evaluation, analysis and possibly provide recommendation related to production material testing.
• 8. Prepare Certificate of Inspection (COI) for all products as required by the client.
• 9. Prepare QA and technical report in all internal and external related concerns.
• 10. Monitor and request update for QA instruments and equipment calibration.
• 11. Monitor and ensure that corrective actions are properly implemented.
• 12. Participate in the internal (Clients) and external (Suppliers) quality audits.
• 13. Create an effective efficient testing protocol to be used across all production process.
• 14. Provide training and support to QA team.
• 15. Ensure conformance to Quality Management System, 5S and Safety requirement.
• 16. Participate in all required company programs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 1. BS Engineering or manufacturing course with at least 3 years of related experience.
• 2. Analytical, logical throughout the process and with meticulous attention to details.
• 3. QA/QC background with in-depth knowledge in QC tools, Problem Solving Techniques, FMEA, SPC or other quality improvement tool and technique is a plus.
• 4. Quality Management System background.
