Job summary

Neltex Development Co. Inc. is seeking a QA Supervisor to lead laboratory and QA operations, ensuring accurate testing, timely inspection, and compliance with quality standards. The role provides technical guidance and develops QA/QC personnel to enable continuous improvement and product quality.

The candidate will manage equipment, maintain calibration, review test results, and drive CAPA and process improvements while promoting safety and compliance in a Dasmariñas, Cavite facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Laboratory Management and 2 years in supervisory role.
• Experience in PVC-U pipe manufacturing, plastic extrusion, polymer testing, or laboratory accreditation is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001.
• Knowledge in SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Measurement Uncertainty, Calibration, and Traceability.
• Willing to be assigned in Dasmarinas, Cavite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily laboratory activities and testing priorities in support of production requirements.
• Provide technical guidance on laboratory testing, product qualification, inspection, and evaluation.
• Review and interpret test results and data trends, and provide recommendations for process improvement and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory management systems, including current test methods, SOPs, calibration, personnel competency, and proper documentation.
• Manage laboratory equipment, including preventive maintenance, calibration, repairs, and equipment recommendations.
• Coach and develop QA/QC personnel through training and competency assessments while promoting laboratory safety.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as root cause analysis, CAPA, process capability improvement, productivity improvements, and implementation of new test methods.
