Job summary

Newly Weds Foods Philippines is seeking a detail‑driven Quality Assurance professional to ensure compliant documentation, review raw material records, and implement corrective actions for non‑conformances in our food manufacturing environment.

You will conduct supplier evaluations and on‑site audits, manage change control and policy documentation, and collaborate with production teams to maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant QA experience.
• Basic food laboratory skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail oriented, proactive and self‑driven.
• Willing to travel for field audits.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure raw materials have complete documentation on file.
• Verify tests on raw materials and production premixes comply with procedures and report non‑conformances.
• Conduct supplier evaluations including on‑site audits.
• Ensure factory process control testing follows procedures and document non‑conformances promptly.
• Administer change control processes and contribute to standardization efforts.
• Manage and track policies, revisions, and signature logs per company policy.
• Implement and follow up on corrective actions for all non‑conformances.

About the role

This is a Quality Assurance role in food manufacturing, responsible for ensuring compliance with approved procedures, managing documentation, conducting supplier evaluations, and implementing corrective actions for non‑conformances.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure that all raw materials have their corresponding documentation requirements on file

• Ensure that all tests carried out for raw materials and production premixes/colour mixes are in accordance to approved procedures and that non‑conforming products are put on‑hold, properly reported and documented

• Conduct Supplier evaluations including performing on‑site audits

• Ensure that all process control testing in the factory is carried out in accordance with approved procedures and that non‑conforming products are put on‑hold, properly reported, documented immediately

• Administer the current policy change control process and significantly contribute to evaluation alignment and automation of the processes as part of common efforts to standardize operations

• Manage and track policies, revisions, change documentation, signature logs in accordance with Company Policy

• Implement and/or follow up on corrective actions for all non‑conformances raised

Job Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or any related course

• With 2 to 3 years relevant experience in Quality Assurance

• With basic food laboratory skills

• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Highly detail oriented, proactive and has a strong self-initiative

• Willing to travel, as may be needed, to carry out field audit duties

• Computer Proficient (MS Applications)
