Job summary

Kings Quality Foods, Inc. seeks a qualified QA/QC Manager to develop, implement, and maintain the QMS aligned with industry standards.

You will lead Technical Services (QA, QC, R&D) to support production, subsidiaries, and distribution, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality. The role involves auditing, ensuring compliance with local and international food safety standards, supervising the QA/TSD team, coordinating with Production and R&D to resolve issues, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, and other allied fields.
• Minimum 5 years in QA/QC roles, preferably in food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Preferably has experience in implementing GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety programs in a food plant environment.
• Preferably with experience in Meat Processing operations.
• Adept with Lab equipment and testing within the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS in line with industry standards
• Ensures Technical Services Team (QA, QC, R&D) support to King’s Quality Foods Inc. and other subsidiaries (Production, Premier Fresh Trading Corp., Outlets and Warehouse and Logistics).
• Directs the Technical Services Department's activities to ensure that products are manufactured at the highest standard.
• Monitors the quality, and consumption of production materials and other operational requirements consistently meeting statutory, regulatory, and food safety standards and specifications
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to QMS policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with the local and international food industry
• Supervise and train the QA/TSD team
• Coordinate with other departments (Production, R&D) to resolve quality issues
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory testing and equipment
• Prepare reports on quality performance metrics
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests
• Address customer complaints related to product quality
• Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure quality standards
