As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that products or services meet the highest quality standards before they are released to customers. This role involves developing and implementing testing processes, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve quality issues. The QA Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining product integrity and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Testing and Validation:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product functionality and performance.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.

Defect Management:

• Identify, document, and track defects or issues found during testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve defects.

Process Improvement:

• Analyze and enhance existing testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide recommendations for improvements to development processes based on testing outcomes.

Documentation:

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of test results, defects, and test procedures.
• Prepare and present reports on testing progress, issues, and results to stakeholders.

Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure that products or services comply with industry standards, regulations, and internal quality policies.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and testing.

Customer Focus:

• Understand customer requirements and expectations to ensure that the final product meets or exceeds them.
• Address customer feedback related to product quality and performance.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree holder in any Engineering courses or in any related field.

Experience:

Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in construction Industry or in a similar role, with experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related field.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
• Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
• Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications (e.g., Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH Training), Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH), ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)) are a plus.
