Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review clinical notes/charts from evaluation to discharge and coordinate corrections with clinicians.
• Ensure all charts and documents are correctly submitted to the EMR system for review by relevant parties.
• Respond to clinician, agency, doctor, and payer questions regarding documentation and care events.
• Provide training to therapists on documentation practices as needed.
• Collaborate with Care coordination to ensure home health agencies are supported.
• Deliver high-quality customer service through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and applicable laws and policies.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a remote, full-time QA Coordinator who will be a part of the QA team to review charts and assist therapists in completing documentation.

This role requires proficiency in various software systems (training provided) and a strong background in healthcare is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• QA coordinator will review all clinical notes/charts from evaluation to discharge and will reach out to clinicians if there is need for correction.

• QA ensures every chart and document is submitted correctly and completely to the EMR system for review by the home health agency, patient's doctor, and insurance.

• QA is responsible for answering any questions from clinicians, agencies, and doctors regarding documentation and what occurred during the patient's case

• QA is responsible for providing training/education to therapists as needed regarding documentation.

• QA coordinator will collaborate with their Care coordinator partner to ensure satisfied home health agencies.

• Deliver excellent customer service through strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
