Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Quality Assurance leader to shape and execute the company\'s quality vision across production, engineering and regulatory teams.

You will oversee QA, OQC, IQC, ensure SOPs and documentation, drive audits, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

The role focuses on reducing defects, improving processes, and developing the QA team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality vision, policies and long-term strategies.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams.
• Establish measurable quality KPIs and drive performance against production targets.
• Direct QA, OQC, and IQC teams; manage resources and performance.
• Approve and monitor quality documentation systems and SOPs.
• Resolve product-related issues, investigations and variances.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of measuring tools and equipment.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Coach and develop QA staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Represent Quality in meetings, audits, and supplier evaluations.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement the company’s quality vision, policies, and long-term strategies in alignment with corporate objectives.

• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams to ensure quality standards are embedded across all processes.

• Establish measurable quality KPIs and drive performance against daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

Operational Oversight

• Direct and oversee QA, OQC, and IQC teams, ensuring effective resource allocation, productivity, and performance management.

• Approve and monitor quality documentation systems, computerized data systems, specifications, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Ensure timely resolution of product-related technical issues, lot-specific investigations, and manufacturing variances.

• Oversee calibration, maintenance, and qualification of measuring tools, equipment, and components.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications.

• Lead internal audits, self-assessments, and external audit preparations, developing corrective and preventive action plans.

• Implement risk-based approaches to quality management

Continuous Improvement

• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and optimize production workflows.

• Analyze recurring quality issues and implement systemic solutions to prevent reoccurrence.

• Suggest and implement changes in working conditions, equipment use, and team practices to improve safety and efficiency.

People Development

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training programs to build technical expertise and leadership capabilities within the QA team.

• Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and design career development pathways for staff.

Other Responsibilities

• Represent the Quality function in management meetings, customer audits, and supplier evaluations.

• Assume additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.
