Job summary

Lotte-Gulermak-EEI Joint Venture is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to oversee inspection and monitoring of rigid inclusion activities such as drilling and concreting at Laguna project sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil and Electrical Engineering, with professional registration preferred, and 3–5 years' experience in mechanical engineering and construction. You will coordinate with clients and QA/QC to ensure quality standards and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil and electrical engineering is required or preferred.
• Professional civil/electrical registration/licensure is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor rigid inclusion activities (drilling and concreting).
• Witness field tests of concrete during concreting.
• Prepare concrete monitoring records.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants for inspections, testing, and approvals of scheduled activities.
• Report daily activities and inspection results to the QA/QC Manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Quality Control (QC) Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection and monitoring of rigid inclusion activities, including drilling and concreting works.
• Witness and monitor field testing of concrete during concreting operations.
• Prepare and maintain concrete monitoring and inspection records.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants for inspections, testing, and approval of scheduled activities.
• Report daily activities, issues, and inspection results to the QA/QC Manager.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Education & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering & Electrical Engineering
• Professional Civil Engineer/Electrical registration/licensure is preferred.
• Additional certifications in construction management, project management, testing and commissioning, or railway systems are an advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and construction projects.
• Experience in railway, MRT, LRT, metro, airport, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary construction activities.
