EOSHMA GENERAL CONSTRUCTION AND SUPPLIES CORPORATION seeks a Quality Control Engineer to ensure works comply with plans, specs, codes, and quality requirements. You will implement QA/QC procedures, conduct inspections, and maintain quality records at the project site.
Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, submittals, material testing, NCRs, and coordination with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
We are seeking a Quality Control Engineer to ensure that construction activities, materials, workmanship, and completed works comply with approved plans, specifications, applicable codes, standards, and project quality requirements. The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality control procedures at the project site, conducting inspections and tests, maintaining quality documentation, and coordinating with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to identify and resolve quality issues.
Knowledge in preparation of concreate design mix for batching plant operation.
Implement and monitor the project's Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC) procedures and requirements.
Conduct regular inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.
Review construction plans, drawings, specifications, material submittals, and other technical documents for quality requirements.
Inspect and verify the quality of incoming construction materials and equipment.
Coordinate and witness material testing, field testing, and laboratory testing as required.
Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection requests, checklists, test reports, and other quality-related documents.
Identify non-conforming work, materials, or processes and coordinate appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Issue and monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closeout of quality issues.
Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients regarding quality-related matters.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related engineering field.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in construction quality control, QA/QC.
Experience in building, infrastructure, commercial, residential, industrial, or other construction projects is an advantage.
Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, testing procedures, and quality control practices.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
