Job summary

Sangkutsa Food Products Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead the QA team and ensure daily quality control activities align with GMP, HACCP, and the FSMS.

You will conduct regular inspections, manage audits, and drive root-cause analysis while mentoring production and QA staff to improve product quality, reduce waste, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related science.
• 2-4 years' experience in quality assurance in a food manufacturing setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSMS and applicable food safety regulations.
• Experience handling internal and third-party audits.
• Leadership and people management skills; detail-oriented with strong documentation abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and QA monitoring systems; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the QA team to ensure daily quality control activities are performed efficiently.
• Implement and monitor compliance with GMP, HACCP, and the FSMS.
• Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Monitor sanitation procedures to meet hygiene standards.
• Review and maintain QA documentation, reports, and records for audits and traceability.
• Coordinate internal audits and assist with external audits (e.g., Halal, FSSC 22000, FDA, Kosher).
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
• Train production and QA personnel on quality procedures and food safety.
• Collaborate with production to improve product quality and minimize waste.
• Prepare QA reports and provide quality performance updates to management.
