Job summary

ORBIS Precision Tech. Inc. is seeking a QA Staff for our Binan City, Laguna facility to maintain high quality standards across manufacturing operations. This is an on-site contract position within our quality assurance and control team.

You will conduct inspections, document data, analyze trends, and collaborate with production to prevent defects and ensure regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes precision, safety, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with post-secondary education or QA certification preferred.
• Experience in quality assurance, quality control or manufacturing environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise specifications and procedures.
• Proficiency with quality control tools and quality management systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings; knowledge of Tool Microscope.
• Understanding of statistical process control and basic data analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple inspections.
• Strong written and verbal communication to document findings.
• Ability to work independently while upholding quality and safety.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Keen problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to root cause analysis investigations when quality issues arise.

About the role

We are seeking a QA Staff member to join the Quality Assurance and Control team at ORBIS Precision Tech. Inc. in Binan City, Laguna. This is a contract position based on-site at our Laguna Technopark facility. As a QA Staff member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing operations, ensuring that all products meet rigorous specifications and regulatory requirements. Your contributions will be integral to safeguarding our reputation for precision and excellence in the manufacturing, transport and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

1. Conducting routine quality inspections and tests on products and materials in accordance with established standards and specifications

2. Documenting inspection results, test data and any non-conformities using quality management systems

3. Identifying defects and deviations from quality standards, and reporting findings to senior QA personnel

4. Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and work instructions

5. Performing statistical analysis and trend monitoring to support continuous improvement initiatives

6. Collaborating with production and operations teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence

What we’re looking for

1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification, with post-secondary education or certification in quality assurance or related field preferred

2. Proven experience working in quality assurance, quality control or manufacturing environments

3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise specifications and procedures

4. Proficiency in using quality control tools and equipment, and familiarity with quality management systems

5. Must know how to read mechanical drawings, and must know how to use Tool Microscope.

6. Sound understanding of statistical process control and basic data analysis techniques

7. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple inspection tasks simultaneously

8. Strong written and verbal communication skills to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams

9. Ability to work independently while maintaining commitment to quality standards and safety protocols

10. Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks and work in a manufacturing environment

11. Keen problem-solving mindset and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement efforts
