Job summary

San Miguel Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Manager to oversee QA/QFSMS programs across Ice Cream, Coffee, and Sta. Rosa Shipping Point operations in Laguna, Philippines.

You will lead GMP, HACCP, Halal initiatives, ensure compliance with local and international regulations, and manage lab testing and customer quality inquiries to ensure product safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience leading QA/QFSMS programs in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP and Halal standards.
• Ability to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and monitoring of quality and food safety programs, including GMP, HACCP, Halal, and other applicable standards.
• Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations, certifications, and statutory requirements.
• Conduct internal audits, facility inspections, investigations, and corrective action follow-ups for identified quality issues.
• Review and recommend disposition of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Manage customer complaints and quality-related inquiries, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Oversee laboratory activities and ensure timely, accurate, and reliable testing of products and materials.
