Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nutrition or related science.
• Minimum 2 years in a Food Manufacturing role as Quality Specialist or Supervisor.
• Technical knowledge or training in cGMP, ISO QMS, Food Safety, HACCP, Pollution Control and HALAL is a plus.
• Discreet, tactful, and capable with confidential information.
• Strong knowledge of QA and safety compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of QA specialists to meet set criteria and ensure team effectiveness.
• Conduct QA audits to uphold company standards and product safety.
• Oversee receiving of materials and dispatch of raw/finished goods.
• Collaborate with production to remove nonconforming items for rework.
• Update and set standards for existing and new products.
• Work with R&D on new product updates and sensory evaluations.
• Ensure sanitation and GMP in start-up, workplace, equipment, and staff hygiene.
