Job summary

Sateco Philippines Inc is seeking a QA/QC Supervisor to lead the quality assurance and control teams, review reports, and drive continuous improvement across operations. The role emphasizes compliance with automotive standards and coordination of audits and inspections to meet customer specs.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in QA/QC, leadership experience, and strong communication across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering field with QA/QC exposure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication across departments and with management.
• Experience in automotive industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 quality standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA/QC activities ensuring products, processes and documents meet standards.
• Lead QA/QC team; coordinate inspections, audits and continuous improvement.
• Review and approve evaluation reports; lead corrective actions (CAPA).
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of measurement/testing equipment.
• Review inspection/test reports and ensure traceability of materials.
• Mentor and develop inspectors, engineers and analysts; schedule and assign tasks.
• Conduct competency assessments and identify training needs.
• Promote a culture of quality and cross-department collaboration.
• Interact with customers and suppliers; manage complaints and root-cause analysis.
• Manage product quality documentation and QA/QC governance.

Job description

The QA/QC Supervisor oversees all quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure that products, processes, and documentation meet company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Leads the QA/QC team, coordinates inspections and audits, and drives continuous improvement across operations.

Responsibilities

1. 1. Quality Assurance: Review and approve evaluation, reports documents, lead investigation, documentation, standardization and improves the quality (NCR), deviations and provide corrective and preventive actions.

2. 2. Quality Control of inspection, testing, and sampling result.

3. 3. Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of measuring & testing equipment.

4. 4. Review of inspection reports, test reports and documentation prior to release.

5. 5. Oversee material inspection and product inspection.

6. 6. Ensure traceability and documentation accuracy for raw materials, in-process checks and finished goods.

7. 7. Leadership & Team Management that leads, trains, and mentor of QA/QC inspectors, engineers and analyst. Scheduling, and assigning team responsibilities based on priorities.

8. 8. Conduct competency assessments and identify the training needs.

9. 9. Promote a culture of quality, discipline, harmonious relationship, good environment and contionuous improvement within the department and or to other department.

10. 10. Customer and Supplier Interaction , communicates, coordinate and manage complaints perform toot cause analysis and ensure timely closure

11. 11. Can judge and goal-oriented, can manage the quality of the product and can manage the documents of QA/QC.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering or Engineering Course

• At least 5 years of experience in QA/QC; with supervisory role is preferred

• With relevant experience in automotive industry is preferred

• Relevant Background on International Automotive Task Force (IATF) 16949

• With analytical skills

• Good communication skills across all departments and higher management
