Job summary

DOZA Group Inc. is seeking a hands-on QA/QC Officer to ensure architectural and interior fit-out works are delivered to approved plans, specifications, and client requirements.

You will conduct daily site inspections and verify workmanship against drawings, specs, and material samples. You will identify defects, coordinate corrective actions with the Project Manager and subcontractors, and maintain QA/QC records, punchlists, and documentation to support client inspections and project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related construction field.
• Minimum 2+ years QA/QC or site experience in architectural/interior fit-out works.
• Able to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with on-site inspection willingness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of ongoing architectural and fit-out works.
• Check workmanship against drawings, specifications, method statements, and approved material samples.
• Inspect partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, tiling, millworks, doors, and other finishes.
• Identify defects, non-conforming work, and potential quality issues before punchlists.
• Coordinate corrective works with the Project Manager, PIC, subcontractors, and site team.
• Prepare and maintain inspection requests, QA/QC reports, checklists, punchlists, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor closure of punchlist items and ensure completed works are ready for client/consultant inspection.
• Verify delivered materials against approved specifications and samples.
• Coordinate inspections and quality concerns with the client, consultant, and other trades when required.
• Maintain proper photo documentation and quality records throughout the project.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of ongoing architectural and fit-out works
• Check workmanship against approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and approved material samples
• Inspect works such as partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, tiling, millworks, doors, and other architectural finishes
• Identify defects, non-conforming work, and potential quality issues before they become major punchlist items
• Coordinate corrective works with the Project Manager, PIC, subcontractors, and site team
• Prepare and maintain inspection requests, QA/QC reports, checklists, punchlists, and supporting documentation
• Monitor closure of punchlist items and ensure completed works are ready for client/consultant inspection
• Verify delivered materials against approved specifications and samples
• Coordinate inspections and quality concerns with the client, consultant, and other trades when required
• Maintain proper photo documentation and quality records throughout the project

About you

• Graduate of Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related construction course
• Preferably with 2+ years of QA/QC or site experience, particularly in architectural or interior fit-out works
• Strong knowledge of construction workmanship and finishing standards
• Able to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications
• Detail-oriented and willing to personally inspect works on site
• Capable of identifying defects and following through until corrective works are completed
• Organized in preparing inspection records and QA/QC documentation
• Able to coordinate firmly and professionally with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
