Job summary

Polarr Azanje Construction Inc. is seeking a seasoned QA/QC professional to lead quality assurance and control on our Subic project. The role requires a civil engineering degree, a licensed engineer, and solid QA/QC experience in construction, with supervisory capabilities.

The successful candidate will review ITPs and method statements, coordinate inspections, and maintain complete QA/QC documentation, ensuring compliance with plans and standards while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) preferred/required.
• Experience in QA/QC on construction projects is essential.
• Experience as QA/QC Manager or equivalent supervisory role preferred.
• Familiar with project specs, drawings, ITPs, method statements, inspections, and QA/QC docs.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System is a plus.
• Strong leadership, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be assigned in Subic, Zambales.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee QA/QC activities throughout the project.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved plans, specifications, standards, and project requirements.
• Review and monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), method statements, checklists, and quality records.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, material approvals, and quality documentation.
• Monitor non-conformities, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of quality records.
• Monitor QA/QC performance and provide regular records to management.
• Promote continuous improvement and effective implementation of the company’s Quality Management System.
