Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • Professional license is an advantage.
  • 1–2 years in construction industry experience, preferably QA/QC.
  • Infrastructure project experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of quality control standards.
  • Knowledge of material testing requirements and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Review plans and technical specifications.
  • Assist in preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and QA/QC deliverables.
  • Conduct monitoring inspections of construction activities.
  • Inspect delivered permanent materials.
  • Check formworks conditions and material storage quality.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance with the Project Quality Plan.
  • Track rectification and closure of punch list items.
  • Coordinate joint inspections with client representatives.
  • Develop work method statements with the Operations Team.
  • Prepare Internal QA/QC reports and monitor corrective actions.
  • Call for client inspections upon internal verification.
  • Perform daily quality assurance and quality control inspections.
  • Prepare QA/QC documentation such as IR, IWR, CPR, Handover, Punchlist, and Closeout records.
  • Issue Non-Conformance Notices and report quality issues.
  • Witness material and product testing.
  • Inspect precision tools, parts, and equipment.
  • Manage QA/QC document filing, turnover, and archiving.
  • Escalate major quality issues to superiors.

Job Summary
