Job summary

Morning Star Milling Corporation in Pasig is seeking a Laboratory/QA professional to monitor and inspect wheat, flour and pasta products following QA and R&D standards and customer specifications.

The role involves performing physico-chemical tests, sampling and inspection of materials, and issuing Certificates of Analysis for customers, with a rotation shift six days a week in Bagong Ilog, Pasig.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Technology or related course.
• Registered Chemist or Chemical Technician is an advantage.
• At least six (6) months experience in a laboratory or in a manufacturing company is an advantage.
• Newly graduates with good academic records are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to monitor quality of products.
• Knowledgeable in Good Laboratory Practice.
• Computer literate.
• Good communication skills.
• Amenable to work on a rotational shifting schedule six days a week at Bagong Ilog, Pasig.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, analyzes and inspects the wheat, flour and pasta products according to QA and R&D standards and customer specifications.
• Conducts physico-chemical tests based on lab procedures and quality plan for in-process and finished products.
• Do sampling and physical inspection of flour prior to release and packaging materials prior to acceptance.
• Checks and assesses products on-hold, rejects or returned by clients.
• Issues Certificates of Analysis to respective customers.
